I have practiced law in Pocatello continuously since June 1980. Initially, I was with the Pocatello office of Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc., where I served as managing attorney. Since February 1988, I have maintained a private law practice with an emphasis on adoption, divorce, elder law, estate planning, family law, Indian law and representation of nonprofit corporations.
I have served as Chair of the Sixth District Bar Association Family Law Section and I have received the Idaho State Bar Association Pro Bono Award for my efforts on behalf of abused and neglected children while representing the guardian from the Court- Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program.
I am a 1976 graduate of the New England School of Law where I received the Arthur Getchell Scholarship and I was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award both in Family Law and Debtor/Creditor Relations.
I have been actively involved in community service, including serving on boards such as the Marshall Public Library, Portneuf Medical Center and the Pocatello Free Clinic.
